8th Grade Families, Please email your 8th grade student's baby pictures by May 19th. Please see the flyer for more information. There will be an 8th grade parent meeting on Tuesday, May 16 at 6pm in the cafeteria. The 8th Grade Promotion will be on Wednesday, May 24th at 7pm in the cafeteria/gym. The 8th Grade Banquet will be on Tuesday, May 23rd at 6pm in the cafeteria/gym. There is a limit of 6 guest tickets for the banquet, and they can be picked up in the front office. Thank you.

Gila Crossing Families, Tomorrow, May 6th is the last Saturday school for the school year. Also, Next week May 8th-May 11th is the last week for the afterschool program. Gila Crossing Families, The K-4 READING CHALLENGE is still going strong until May 18th. If we reach the goal of 8,000 books read, Ms. C will be slimed. Please make sure you are signing your students reading logs each night and returning them on Fridays to be counted. We would LOVE if you sat and read with or to your child. We hope to not only meet our goal but even more importantly to get families excited about reading BOOKS. Thank you.

Gila Crossing Families, Our End of Year testing cycle has begun. Therefore, the after school schedule has been adjusted for this week only. We will NOT have after school activities today, Tuesday April 11 or tomorrow, Wednesday April 12 of this week due to student testing. K-4 will be dismissed at 2:30 pm and 5-8 will be dismissed at 4 pm. Afterschool will resume again on Thursday, April 13 and there will be Saturday School this Saturday, April 15. Thank you.

​Gila Crossing Families, The GCCS K-4 READING CHALLENGE starts today and ends on May 18th. Our goal is to have the K-4 students read or have 8,000 books read to or with them by an adult in the home.
