Gila Crossing Community School Families, Today, Governor Lewis issued an amended Executive Order, which mandated that all schools located within the Community return to virtual learning. We will begin deployment of Chromebooks to each student on Monday, August 16th and Tuesday, August 17th, please visit our website or Facebook for the scheduled times of pick up. Classes will resume virtually on Wednesday, August 18, through Google classroom, with their current teacher. Thank you.

Gila Crossing Families, We are excited to return to IN-PERSON learning here on campus on Monday, August 2. This year's theme is Rockin, Rollin and Resilient!!! Are you all ready to Rock??? We have some very important announcements about the start up: 1) We have changed the start times for this coming year, to allow for distancing on the buses. Pre-K to 4th grades will attend from 7:30am to 2:30pm Monday - Thursday, with a 11:30am release on Fridays 5th to 8th Grades will attend from 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday - Thursday, with a 1:00pm release on Fridays Please plan for these changes in start and end times, especially for when students will arrive home in the afternoons. 2) If you need to register, please do so ASAP by coming in to the front office weekdays from 8am to 3pm. It's important that we start Rockin right from Day 1 3) We still need to collect quite a few Chromebooks and WiFi HotSpots. You can return these to the meal buses starting on Monday, July 19, if you have not already done so. Chromebooks can also be dropped off at the Front Office. You will be invoiced for Chromebooks not returned to the school. 4) Meet the Teacher / Open House will be held Thursday, July 29 from 4pm-6pm (Pre-K to 4th) and 5pm - 6pm (5th to 8th). We will be doing a family BBQ meal that afternoon as part of the festivities. 5) Shirts, Backpacks and other Materials will be available for pickup at the Open House / BBQ. Gila Crossing Families, We are now accepting applications for PreK and Kindergarten. Enrollment forms are available on the website or you may pick up a copy from the front office. If you have any questions, please call 520-550-4834. Thank you.

Gila Crossing Families, Beginning Monday, June 28, the buses will start rolling at 9am, so deliveries of breakfasts and lunches will arrive about 2 to 2.5 hours later than they were during Summer School. We will continue to deliver meals Monday through Thursday (NO FRIDAYS) for the remainder of the summer, until Thursday, July 29. There will be no delivery on Monday, July 5. We are also asking that all Chromebooks and Hotspots be returned to the buses or the front office beginning Monday, June 28. It is our goal to have them all turned in by Thursday, July 1, so they can be readied for next school year. All Chromebooks are being turned off after Summer School has concluded on Thursday, June 24. Thank you.

Gila Crossing Families, If you have not returned Chromebooks, Chargers and Hotspots, please do so as soon as possible via the Meals on Wheels or to the front office. Summer School students should NOT turn in Chromebooks or Hotspots until after the completion of Summer School. Thank you.
