Gila Crossing Families,
There have been some questions from families concerning the "virtual learning" option cited in Executive Order #15. While we will of course offer a virtual option, we want to be clear that this option may not look like it has in the past and may not be synchronous. In other words, students may not be in a classroom simultaneously with their in-person classmates, and they may not have access to Specials classes. We wanted to make sure you had the most accurate information when making your decision about in-person vs. virtual learning.
Please also remember that the vaccination requirement in place for students last spring has been set aside in the latest Executive Order as well. However, students must have a negative PCR test five (5) days prior to starting school. We will be offering the tests here at GCCS on Friday, July 29th from 2:00pm-5:00pm.
