Gila Crossing Families,
If you are planning on having your student(s) return in-person next Tuesday, February 22, the office will need two critical pieces of information:
1) Students need to be fully vaccinated. Please bring verification of this status to the office by this Friday at 2pm. IF you got your vaccinations through a health care provider outside the Community, please let them know your student(s) attend Gila Crossing Community School, and you need a copy of either the card or written verification of both doses to be presented to the office.
2) Students also need to have a negative Covid test no more than 5 days prior to attending first day. If you go to a healthcare provider other than Gila River, please let that provider know that your student attends Gila Crossing Community School, and need the results sent to us, and they will likely have you sign a waiver to release information.
So again, to attend in-person: 1) students need to have proof they are fully vaccinated, and 2) have a negative COVID test no more than 5 days prior to returning in person
If you are attending tomorrow's testing event from 10am to 4pm in the gym, please let the providers doing the testing know your student(s) attend Gila Crossing Community School, AND sign the waiver allowing Gila River Health to share information with us here about a negative test.
If you come tomorrow for testing, it would be a great opportunity to bring your vaccination verification in to the front office, if you have not already done so.
We all are looking forward to next Tuesday and the return of students on-campus, while also continuing to provide synchronous virtual learning to those choosing that option.
